Understanding SRA Audits

The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) audits are an integral part of legal firms, and most of them must be registered with the SRA to remain compliant. All solicitors are legally obligated to undergo an SRA audit if they hold client money as part of their services.

What does an SRA audit include?

In October 2011, the SRA radically altered the reporting rules for solicitors, mandating them to:
